Julien Olivier, French-Canadian folklorist and author, presented an historical characterization of an Immigrant French-Canadian Pepère.
Robert R. Bellerose, local historian and author, discussed "The Mills of Woonsocket and Life in a New England Mill Village."
Dennis Boudreau and Paul Cyr looked at "Life in Acadia" and Acadian Genealogy. Dennis Boudreau is the editor of "Le Reveil," the journal of the Acadian Cultural Society; Paul Cyr is the President of the Acadian Cultural Society.
AFGS President Roger Beaudry discussed the  "Gathering of Cemetery Data and its Value to Genealogists".
