Drouin Film - Event Copy Request Form

This form is for Requesting a copy of an event from the American-French Genealogical Society Drouin microfilm collection.

If your researching American-French Canadian Genealogy and have Actual Names, Exact Place and Date of the event that is documented in a repertoire (published book of baptisms, marriages or deaths) or the PRDH. you may now be able to get a copy of that event.
If you do not have the necessary information you may request that our research department do the research and document the information. There is a fee if we find the information and it is sent to you. Research Department

This service provides a copy of the record just the way it is written in the actual journal or book that was filmed by the Drouin Instute. In some case it may be a little challenging to read because of the penmanship or clarity. We will do our best to provide you with the best possible copy from the Drouin microfilms.

The fee for this service if an AFGS member is $5.00 per copy of an event or if a non-member it is $7.50 per copy. This fee includes finding the information on the film from information you supplied, and making a copy of the event.

Postage and handling is $2.50 for the first event then $1.00 each additional event.

If you wish the copy translated please check the appropriate box. There is an additional minimum charge for this service of $7.00 per copy. The actual translation cost can not be determined until the film is reviewed.

NOTE: There is no charge for AFGS to check if we have the information. You pay only when we have found your information.

After we have found the information you requested, we will contact you by E-mail about the cost. At that time you will need to send in the appropriate funds and we will send you your order.
